To all the people who have ever doubted their value, doubted that they are loved, doubted the meaning of their life, internalized the criticisms that they have been fed, felt that perhaps the world would be better without them in it:
There is suffering and pain in life, but there is more joy than suffering, more beauty than pain … We just don’t see it. We see what’s wrong instead of what’s right, we focus on the pain instead of the pleasure, we hear the criticisms instead of the compliments, we long for what isn’t instead of what is.
Open your eyes, and notice what is good, and if nothing is good, then just notice the unexplainable miracle of your breath.
One breath at a time, know that your life has meaning. One breath at a time, know that you were given a life for a reason. One breath at a time, know that it will get better. One breath at a time, know that beyond the pain, life is sweet … so sweet that those moments of sheer loneliness and hurt are worth it.

So true Anitra!
